Idyll Memories – Ceramic Tiki Mug
“Idyll Memories” captures the warm nostalgia that has become such a signature of Jeff Granito’s style. Drawing inspiration from vintage Hawaiian menu illustrations, souvenir art, and classic matchbook graphics, the mug feels less like a modern product and more like a keepsake from a romanticized island memory.
From the flowing wahine figure to the lush palms and postcard-like composition, every detail channels the charm of mid-century Hawaiiana. The earthy glaze palette and stylized forms echo the hand-painted artwork once found on tiki bar menus, travel brochures, and roadside restaurant ephemera throughout the golden age of tiki culture.
Rather than chasing realism, “Idyll Memories” embraces the dreamy, idealized feeling of old Hawaii… the kind remembered through faded postcards, cocktail napkins, and stories shared over tropical drinks.

- Designed by Jeff Granito and sculpted by TikiLand Trading Co., in sunny Southern California. Imported.
- Note about import production: These mugs are being produced with one of our tried and tested production partners. All mugs will have passed through multiple rounds of quality control before being shipped out.
Use, care, and variation
- These are ceramic mugs intended for cold or room temperature beverages only.
- All of our ceramics are handmade. Each mug varies slightly and is unique, and is not the exact mug photographed here, although we try for it to be as identical as possible when produced by hand. During ceramic production sometimes there can be variations with glaze, color, texture, cleanup, etc.
- While technically this can be put in a dishwasher, we only recommend hand washing as this is a functional piece of art.
Guarantee & policies
- We guarantee mugs not to arrive with structural cracks or chips, and will replace them at our expense if they arrive to you in this condition.
